About the photos: On Sunday, June 5, 2022, the morning after a beach party, a group of volunteers from our partner organization AMOR gather on one of these beaches to clean up the traces of reckless consumption. Real heroes! - And: it is disconcerting to see garbage in this glossy look.
In light of its 25th birthday, the Linsi Foundation launched a photo competition for project partners from all over the world to capture the diversity of its activities. After many impressive and professional photos of these activities were handed in, the voting took place through online from the beginning of September. What followed was a time of anticipation until it the winner was announced: WE won, well to be more precise, our partner organization AMOR won!
Erwin Eder and Thomas Vogel accepted the prize on their behalf on September 29 at the Linsi Foundation's 25th anniversary celebrations.
"The winning work was selected based on an online public vote and was also one of my favorites. Personally, I was impressed by the special point of view and perspective of the pictures. This realization is rarely seen in the context of depicting development cooperation. Plus the strong saturation of the colors gives the pictures their own strong character. A very exciting and refreshing realization!"
We are really delighted that our partner organization AMOR in Mozambique won this competition. Trevor de Jongh, partner of our EZA specialist Rosa Nordeste, has opened up very exciting perspectives of beach life the day after beach parties with his skillful eye and accentuated use of color.
The Linsi Foundation has published all submissions in an illustrated book: Take a look at the publication.
Congratulations to Trevor de Jongh and our partner organization AMOR and of course all who took part in the competition!
