The conference stood as both a milestone and a momentum-builder — a space where bold ideas met actionable strategies, and Uganda’s energy future took clearer shape.
From the compelling keynote address by Hon. Canon Dr. Ruth Nankabirwa, Uganda’s Minister for Energy and Minerals, to the lively and inclusive panel discussions, participants left energized and connected — inspired to carry forward the vision of an integrated, sustainable energy future.
Solar Pledge East Africa (SPEA) was proud to be part of this transformative space. As a project committed to embedding renewable energy solutions within faith-based and community institutions, SPEA shares UCEM’s vision for inclusive, people-centered energy transitions.
Through partnerships, advocacy, and on-the-ground implementation, SPEA contributes to Uganda’s broader shift toward an integrated energy ecosystem — one that leaves no community behind.
