Adilang Secondary School Solar Installation


Adilang Secondary School, which has 706 students and continues to grow each term, is located in the isolated far eastern Acholi subregion in a hard-to-reach area. The school will benefit from reliable lighting through the new installation and battery replacement, supporting evening studies and improving safety for students at night.

  • 706 students (272 boys and 434 girls)

What is done

  • Installation of 2 new Photovoltaic systems
  • Replacement of a battery in an existing solar system [200Ah, 30A charge controller ]
  • Operation & Maintenance training for staff, incl. safety & PV array cleaning
  • The systems will support boarding facilities and the teaching block

When

  • Installation and repair was completed in February 2026
