In Nicaragua, education is a fundamental right managed by the Ministry of Education (MINED) through a structured framework of basic, secondary, technical, and extracurricular subsystems. To address historical gaps in access and quality, the national strategy focuses on modernizing infrastructure, expanding technological integration, and enhancing teacher training and educational materials. While public investment has shown consistent growth within the national budget, there is an ongoing effort to align resources with the long-term goals of Agenda 2030 and the poverty reduction targets highlighted by CEPAL. Recognizing that systemic improvements are essential for national development, the country is working to expand coverage and ensure that more students successfully complete their schooling. Our project directly aligns with these efforts by equipping students and teachers with the essential school supplies and learning materials necessary for educational success.
