• The advisor supports the project development office of the Salesians of Don Bosco in Caracas, Venezuela, with the goal of strengthening its capacity to manage and coordinate humanitarian assistance more effectively. Deployed through a cooperation with Jugend Eine Welt, the advisor brings extensive expertise in emergency aid to improve internal systems, planning procedures, and the strategic orientation of the office in crisis contexts.
• By mentoring staff and developing tools for project planning and coordination, the advisory reinforces the organisation’s ability to respond to emergencies in a structured and timely manner. Particular attention is given to local ownership and the sustainable integration of humanitarian response mechanisms into the broader organisational structure. The deployment also facilitates coordination with relevant actors to ensure coherent and needs-based delivery of assistance, contributing to greater resilience among affected communities.
