She has extensive experience in research, grant writing, and project management for research institutes, NGOs and international organizations. Limbania has lived and worked in Bolivia, Honduras, Costa Rica, the USA, and Germany. As an independent evaluator, she has supported organizations in Latin America and Central Asia by evaluating the impact of projects, particularly those related to adult and youth education.

Goals

This advisory assignment strengthens organisational development with a practical focus on building a workable monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) system to support the organisation’s work on women’s rights and gender equality. It strengthens organisational development by building a MEAL system that helps the team show results, learn quickly and adapt actions in day-to-day work. The approach is designed to be workable under limited digital infrastructure and to support inclusive, gender-responsive decision-making rather than creating complex procedures that staff cannot maintain. It ensures that indicators and feedback loops capture barriers faced by women and girls and guide corrective action. The Advisor develops an organisation-wide monitoring and evaluation methodology and coaches programme officers and coordination staff to apply it consistently. Support covers analysis and processing of data from ongoing activities, selection and implementation of digital data-collection tools, and training in data management software. Data are organised to enable simple disaggregation by gender where feasible. Simple quality checks and reporting templates strengthen consistency across projects and make evidence easier to use for planning and accountability. To embed learning and sustainability, the Advisor prepares staff to accompany external evaluations and to translate recommendations into concrete follow-up steps. The assignment also supports proposal preparation and fundraising, advises on implementation and project reporting, and reviews communication materials so messages reflect programme logic and evidence while remaining sensitive to women’s rights priorities.
